I finally used a set of treasured lampwork beads created by Julie Rose DeFeo from her ' Skipping Stones' series! I wrapped them on silver, then added bits of hand dyed Sari silk in lavender hues, creating color contrast and a mix of textiles so delightful to the eye! This necklace features my hand forged and soldered sterling silver bar link chain, closes with my hand forged hook clasp, and is finished with my signature hand stamped heart tag! A glowing antiqued patina, and light tumble make this piece beautiful!
Length: 31 and 3/4 inches long. Extender chain is 3/4 of an inch.
*Lampwork Glass beads are handmade by Julie DeFeo, and are properly annealed for lasting durability - however, they are still glass, and care must be taken when wearing this beauty so as not to break them!*

Azteca Designs jewelry is hand-fabricated one unique piece at a time by me! Most of my work features intentional oxidation and patina. This finish is not meant to be removed, however, a small polishing cloth is included with silver jewelry orders and you may use this to gently clean your silver jewelry if it begins to tarnish.
Some gemstones are more delicate than others. Please wear pieces with care. I recommend removing all jewelry before strenuous activity or bathing/swimming.
