A quick snapshot of a feather in the raw! Just beginning the carving and texturing process which turns a "shape" into a "feather! This is the fun part... The part where I get creative and crazy with the tools! Files, straight chisles, grinding wheels, punches, saws, metal stamps, hammers,.... You name it I use it! Every feather is slightly different. Features different texture, different cuts, etc, but each is born out of love and passion for creating a beautiful new piece of art inspired by nature.
