I picked up some gorgeous natural Purple Spiny Oyster at the Otteson's booth during the Tuscon Gem Show - and couldn't wait to create a classic pair of earrings using the granulation accents I love so much to make the edges look 'lacey'!
This Spiny Oyster Shell is completely natural, and as such features a very natural color variation within the purple.
These beauties are completely hand fabricated, and hang from my hand forged Argentium (935) Silver ear wires.
Hand stamped on the backs with my signature heart and initials.
Total Length from top of ear wire to bottom of earring: 1 and 5/8 inches.

Azteca Designs jewelry is hand-fabricated one unique piece at a time by me! Most of my work features intentional oxidation and patina. This finish is not meant to be removed, however, a small polishing cloth is included with silver jewelry orders and you may use this to gently clean your silver jewelry if it begins to tarnish.
Some gemstones are more delicate than others. Please wear pieces with care. I recommend removing all jewelry before strenuous activity or bathing/swimming.
